I don’t look much like a Maverick Tester do I?

A bit like software, appearances can be deceiving. You think your software is “ready to go”, but have you seriously tested it? Are you willing to manage the risk if it fails to meet customer expectations?

I call myself a Maverick Tester because my approach to testing is a bit different. I call my technique investigative testing where I perform detective work on software to find any nasty surprising bugs that may be lurking around.

An electronic engineer by trade, software testing chose me, when in 1990 I started conformance testing against European standards. I was hooked and has been testing since then. I  really enjoy working with innovative and creative people, which has led me to specialise working for startups and small business.
